The war crimes committed by US presidents have no remedy under the US Constitution. Injustice and criminal impunity by US presidents reigns over the millions murdered around the globe and at home while trillions are spent on those crimes.
The US only has democracy nominally. In actuality it is a plutocracy. Without democracy there is no hope of convicting US presidents for their war crimes as impunity for presidents is built into the US constitution. Impeachment is nearly meaningless as a conviction takes 60 senate votes, which will not happen because the two institutional parties – Democrats and Republicans protect the crimes of their party’s president but also refuse to prosecute current or past presidents for their crimes. Constitutionally given the fact that the Attorney General is appointed by the president and can be fired by the president, prosecution from this direction is impossible. The US has lifetime appointed supreme court and senators with 6 years which means there is no prosecution or manner of pressuring neither the courts, nor the Senate, or even congress where the congress is owned by corporations and the wealthy. At the state level there is also a lack of democracy, no proportional representation, and a huge lack of initiative, referendum and recall of politicians. In short there is no check or balance on war crimes committed by US presidents.

CCUPS: Pursuing Justice and democracy by Convicting Criminal US Presidents
A constitutional amendment is all but a dream due to the impossibility of forcing the entrenched pro war criminal parties and political system to act against US war crimes whether in Palestine, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Panama, Indonesia, against the native people on turtle island, Chile, Guatemala, Hawaii, Vietnam, Puerto Rico or the many other countries that the USA presidents, politicians and military have committed massive crimes of aggression against.
It is for this reason that we must find other means of stopping US war criminal presidents, and the plutocracy which owns the politicians and most all the land and wage slave workers along with brutally torturing 10 billon land animals a year. In short we have no justice and almost nothing that approaches democracy with a first past the post system (fptp). What then should the people do? In plain terms we must demand justice for the war crimes and democracy to ensure prosecution of the criminal presidents and a just system not one where billionaires and millionaires own the electoral system and all the land.
The first action we shall demand is passage of the CCUPS – “convicting criminal US presidents” act at local, state and federal levels. We will demand immediate prosecution of US presidents for their war crimes and a proportional a democratic system, not a FPTP plutocracy.
We the people demand of the local, state and federal governments passage of enabling legislation including a constitutional amendment to make further constitutional amendments passable by popular referendum of 50% plus one vote, initiated by citizens, not politicians. If this legislation is not passed then the path becomes clearer, we will have citizen assemblies to write and declare a new constitution outside of the current sitting regime.
There can and shall be calls for succession if the criminal regime whether Republican, Democrat or any other entity does not pass the CCUPS ACT and a constitutional amendment expeditiously. Succession shall be a right of each state with a 60 percent or greater vote. This constitution and government having become criminally irreformable and destructive domestically and internationally to humans, animals and the environment. We the people have a right to disband the current government and replace it and it is now come to a point of being ad we demand democracy, a democracy which is proportional and actually representative, not fptp. Supreme court judges will all be elected for terms not more than 6 years and the senators will have terms no greater than 2 years and will be proportionally elected not fptp and there shall be a campaign spending limit of no greater than the median family income. The bill of rights with relevant updates shall be a part our next foundational document. Justice and democracy are our guiding pillars. Banks and oligarchs shall not rule us. For people, for animals, for earth, for the future.
